Bodycam Shows Police Tasing Armed Woman in Florida Walmart

In this gripping bodycam footage from a Florida Walmart, Deputy Christopher Witte of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responds to a tense situation involving 33-year-old Brandy McGowan, who was armed with a knife. Despite multiple commands to drop the weapon, McGowan continues to act erratically, making incoherent statements. In a critical moment, Deputy Witte deploys his taser, successfully disarming McGowan. She is then handcuffed and taken into custody. Following the incident, McGowan is transported to a hospital for evaluation before being booked at the Marion County Jail.
