Officers quickly located the white Hummer driven by 25-year-old Hannah Casperson.
As officers attempted to engage with her, Casperson accelerated and collided with a police cruiser, fleeing the scene before striking another cruiser at Brass Mill Drive and East Main. The high-speed pursuit escalated as she entered Interstate 1-84 westbound. The chase came to a halt when she lost control of the vehicle, crashing into a telephone pole on Wheeler Rd and Monroe Turnpike (Route 111) in Monroe, CT.
